Pittsburgh Area Internet Marketing Mastermind Group In The Works!
I met with a new friend of mine, Chris Vendilli, last Monday night and we discussed the possibility of getting an Internet Marketing Mastermind group together in our local Pittsburgh area. Chris surprised me today when he sent out a notice that he started a Facebook group and also put a new section on his blog ProFromGo.com.
If you are an Internet Marketer and live around Pittsburgh or know of any Internet Marketers in the Pittsburgh area, please make them aware of the group. We don’t have any meetups planned yet but hopefully we will in the near future.

I’ll bet that you could ask 100 people that own web sites for any of 100 different topics and 80% of them would say the #1 thing they’d like more of is targeted TRAFFIC.
Without good traffic to your site, it’s sitting alone on the web like a gas pump in the middle of an Arizona [...] -
Pittsburgh Podcamp 4!

I’m excited to share that I just found out the dates for Pittsburgh Podcamp 4. It will be held October 10-11, 2009 at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
This is a fantastic event and I highly encourage anyone that’s remotely interested in Social Media to attend. They have workshops on Podcasting, Video, Blogging, Twitter, Facebook, etc. [...] -

If you are a Twitter user, and I hope you are, here is a technique you can use to find pretty much exactly who you’re looking for on Twitter.
Go to Google.com and enter a string like this:
site:twitter.com “bio” AND “pittsburgh, pa” AND (”marketer” OR “marketing”)
Obviously, replace the location and the keywords with whatever you want [...] -

Thanks for the shout out. Update: we’ve had several group meetings so far and they’ve been a big success. We’re sharing a lot of ideas, tips, & insider info at these meetings & everyone who attends has already seen some benefits making it well worth their while.
